Congratulations.
Does FFS have FFI capabilities?
As soon as I heard about FFI backups, I was stuck by how logical and efficient it seemed.
If FFs doesn't have it, does anyone know what open source software might?
FFI doesn't seem common.

FFS does not have that. Most syncing software won't. You will want to look into backup software specifically, or imaging software. Those are more likely to include snapshots
