Ok, so i copied and pasted 20GB of files from my desktop to my ssh server via a mapped drive. Everything copied over just fine. So now i am using FFS to compare desktop to ssh server and then sync if needs be using the mirror function.
here is the issue. i setup the cloud ssh function and it connects just fine. FFS cloud window asks what directory to sync to, it shows the "cloud backup " folder i made which houses all the other directories and files. So i select the "cloud backup" folder. this folder is a direct match to the folder on the desktop.
in FFS i hit compare, rather than it showing an empty pane on the left hand side stating no files need to be transfered, it says all 20GB worth of files need to be transfered. i have confirmed the the files are on the server.
thanks
FFS not seeing the files

Post a picture of your FFS window, after running the comparison, with the paths visible. Your paths are probably incorrect

Not sure what's going on, but...
/cloud backup in the first shot
/cloud master in the second
also in the second, looks like you have a bar (|) rather then a slash (/) in the (is it a) path?
/Cloud backup|keyfile

correct. Cloud master is my desktop, "cloud backup" is my ssh server in another locationNot sure what's going on, but...

In the second image, youll notice how the left pane is "cloud master" my desktop comparing files to my ssh server "cloud backup" on the right side pane. With FFS, directory names do not have to be the same.
the first image is showing the setting sbox for the ssh server
the bar is added by FFS by default. It connects to the ssh server just fine, but FFS thinks it has to transfer over 20GB of files even though the files already exist on the remote drive.. Its not doing the comparison correctly for some odd reason haha

ok, some new information. I left everything the same, but rather than trying "mirroring" i tried update, and this time FFS sees the files on the ssh server, but i still cant transfer unless i transfer all 20GB. Its almost like FFS doesnt like the idea that i pasted the files over to the ssh server and it didnt.

Okay, so from the very limited screenshot, I can see that FFS says it wants to update the files on the server. I am guessing the timestamps on the files didn't transfer when you manually copied them over. I can't imagine any reason why 'mirror' wouldn't see them but 'update' would.
If all the files are showing that green arrow from left to right, that means the "last modified" timestamp on the source is newer than the destination, which usually means the file was updated by a user and thus changes need to be synced. An arrow with a little '+' next to it means the files does not yet exist in the destination. Your screenshot is kind of useless because we can't see the full comparison window or the full results. file size info would be helpful.
From the info I see, you should just run the sync and see what the comparison results show after that. If they pop up again, your server is not handling timestamps accordingly
