Portable install on Mac disk??

One of the main reasons I wanted fileSync was for the portable use with Macs. I have the Donation edition, but I'm only seeing this for Windows. Where can I find instruction for a portable install on a Mac formatted drive for use with Macs? All I'm getting is he pkg. Thanks.

(From what I see, only a ZIP, containing pkg files, is available.
You could manually unpack the pkg files, & hack things from there, but I'd have no idea if it would work that way or not.)

I tried looking at the pkg files. It's not at all clear how to use the files independently.
