I had FreeFileSync (Donationware version 10.10) installed on macOS since I purchased it, but haven't used it much (mostly using Windows). Today I tried launching it and got "An exception occured" error.
The message displayed is:
Installation files are corrupted. Please reinstall FreeFileSync.
Consistency check failed for "".
Error Code 256: [codesign]
I uninstalled and reinstalled it, but the error occurs again.
Please help.

Does this happen with the latest version 12.1?

I don't have the latest version as I paid for the donationware version which cannot be upgraded to other major versions

Donation edition has lifetime upgrades

I didn't know that! I thought that it was only eligible for upgrades within the major version of the one donated for!! I just downloaded the donation version 12.1, and it works!! Thank you VERY much!!!
