Hi,

There is a symbolic link to another folder on the same disk in the middle of the directory tree structure which is being synchronized and this link is not followed like just not existed. No errors in the log, everything ok when was working inside of the folder on first sync and just nothing about symlink.
All other applications work with it normally recognizing it as a folder, Eclipse works fine with it... Are they supported on Windows at all by FreeFileSync? If not why?

Ah thanks a lot! I took a look at global settings but in "compare"... It's unexpected that this setting is not global but belongs to "compare" settings, I suggest considering its moving to the generic settings.

Well a user may want to change that setting depending on which sync config they are using, so keeping in the config settings makes sense
