I looked through past posts and I didn't see an answer that would fit my situation.
My NAS holds all of the data. I have a separate computer that I syncs a subset of the data from the NAS to take when I am traveling. FreeFileSync is installed on this computer and does the job real time monitoring and syncing data to itself.
I would like to at add a new drive to my NAS for real time sync to sync a subset of the data to a drive that is not part of my back up plan. I guess you call it a "local backup" so to speak.
If I install FFS on the NAS, I know I will run into issues with the db files. I do I over come these issues? If possible, make the answer simple so this rookie can understand.
Thanks.
Johnny
Sync data source to new drive on NAS and to another computer.
