Hello all! Loving this tool. I have, however, a question that the manual hasn't solved, and neither a quick search in the forum.

First, I've already reached "Question regarding limiting versions", which Zenju himself pointed to as an explanation of versioning limits. I am glad to see that I understood well the assumptions behind the interface. That solves half my question.

However, there is an unanswered question there, which is mine too: "Does it work purely on date stamp or date + timestamp?"

What I want to confirm is, if I were to manually change a timestamp on an archived/versioned file name, will FFS only delete that file when the time comes, as measured by the date the version was created? By the by, if I were to modify one of those files' "created" date, using e.g. Attribute Changer, would that confuse FFS? Or does FFS use an internal database for versioning, unaffected by current file system attributes? I know those are highly hypothetical questions, but I currently juggle some really fine adjustments with my previous file synchronizer, and I want to be really really sure about edge cases before I jump ship

FFS used "Last Modified" for syncing. If you manually change this attribute, FFS will take whatever action you tell it to take for the specified difference.

Thank you! That's exactly what I needed to know.
