Hi!
Let's say I want a mirror only of the files from last year. I can filter older files from synchronisation, but the filtered files will linger in the mirror forever.
It'd be nice to be able to decide explicitly what to do (on the right side) with files that would be filtered on the left side: keep/delete/(something else).

I encountered this my first time using the tool. The way it works is somewhat counter-intuitive given the literal definition of a "mirror" is to make the source path look like the target. Since "look like" is determined based on user-defined filters, changing the filters should cause filtered files, copied previously, to be removed from the target, as if they had been deleted from the source.
Given the controversy over this change, however, the problem could be solved by providing the option to manually see and remove the files from the target that will, henceforth, be filtered from the source. You provided a solution which is somewhat cumbersome but at least makes it possible.
There is already a button that will "Show filtered or temporarily excluded files" and one that will "Show files that won't be copied." Could one be added that would show only files that have been, but will no longer be copied? At least then, the user can manually select all those files on the target and delete them.
