Hello.
Often I attempt to sync my music collection with FreeFileSync from my PC to my android phone, and often enough to be a problem, after a sync, the phone will need to reformat the card to use it.
Obviously, this is a bother. It has happened both over mtp, and using a card reader attached to the PC.
I didn't find any forum posts mentioning having to format their SD card, so I don't know if this is something I overlooked in searching the forum, but if anything is known about this problem I am having, I would love to know.
Thanks a bunch.

Does this happen with a different SD card?

Explain that?after a sync, the phone will need to reformat the card to use it
So you sync, & all is "well", & then you go to play music, & what, the drive (immediately) says it needs to be formatted?
Or you sync, & some days later it says it needs to be formatted, or... ?
If you copy files to the card by means other then FFS, will the same happen?

1. Can I test with another card? I don't really have one on hand, but this does not seem to occur when I have to just add all my stuff back on the card through plain old windows after a sync goes wrong and requires formatting.
2. Its immediate, and yeah, windows vanilla file transfer seems to be fine.
