How do you exclude hidden/system files

Hi I am running a mac. I have an external drive that holds my Photos library and other folders and files. When I select easystore/documents, the compare will start searching the Photos library even though it is not visible in the Documents folder. Windows also has hidden and system files.

Does anybody know how to stop that? The Photos Library is huge.

Disregard, I do see it in the document folder. So I guess I just type /Photos Library in the Sync settings filter tab and that should take care of it, correct? Im not too good with the exclude filters formats.

That should work. It may be easier to run a compare, then right-click the item in the results, then click exclude. No syntax errors guaranteed
