Howdy;

I am attempting mirror two external drives using FFS between MacOS and Linux Mint over SFTP.

Both drives are formatted as exfat, they are both accessible from MacOS and Linux Mint, using another program like Transmit lets me see the files and copy them without issue. However when I use FFS, connect to the drive on the Linux Mint machine, do a compare, any files containing special characters such as: "?:~ among others, show up with question marks in boxes [?]. I have confirmed that Linux Mint is using UTF-8 locale. I can't seem to find any ideas on how to resolve this. Originally I synced these two drives using a Mac, then recently synced them again using a PC, without issue. Now I am attempting to do this remotely since the drive will no longer be on premise with me.

I hope someone has a solution. Thanks!
