What good would this be? How long does a comparison take where this would be worth the effort?

Of course, there are internet comparisons that take up to 60 minutes, and for some error you can not finish, if you save the comparison, then it would be much faster to continue.

Your suggestion seems a pretty bad idea.
When resuming the Comparison, a whole lot may have changed in the part of files and folders that were already compared and of which the compare results are saved as per your suggested feature.
Those files and folders will obviously not be compared again (why else the feature at all).
So, any changes to already compared files since saving that (partial) comparison will not result in potentially necessary sync action for those files ...
