How to perform real-time backup of files with FreeFileSync to a cloud service like google, since RealTimeSync only backs up locally.

Did you get a specific error like in the attached photo?

I have tested FFS RTS unattended monitoring with help from a program called rclone. It let's you map a local drive letter to your Google Drive. This way RTS works because it sees a local drive, not cloud.

Or since you are only wanting to backup to the cloud, you could use RTS and only monitor the local source directory for changes.

Yes, it works that way too, presuming you are wanting a one-way sync. If you need, for certain to do a two-way sync, I can show you an example of rclone. Raidrive can also map to Google and Onedrive for free and it's a bit easier to learn.
