Ignoring Symbolic Links has stopped working

Windows 10 updated to FreeFileSync 12.3 [2023-05-17] contributor and started an update on Users directory it included "All Users" which is symbolic link to C\ProgramData. I don't know what version I undated from but on the prior version I was on if you did not mark the follow symbolic links it ignored those.
The number of files found to update/add was about 1.2 million there are only 240,000 or so files in my Users directory total. Tried checking and saving and removing check mark in symbolic links made NO difference.
Checked file total by using "dir \Users /S /A".
