Hi, I just switched from Windows to MacOS and want to backup some files from the directories /Library and /Users but I got a "permission denied" error. "sync.ffs_lock" can't be created.

Error Log:
Die Datei "/Library/sync.ffs_lock" kann nicht geschrieben werden.
EACCES: Permission denied [open]

Die Datei "/Users/sync.ffs_lock" kann nicht geschrieben werden.
EACCES: Permission denied [open]
How can I fix that? FreeFileSync does already have full disk access.

Thanks.

Hi,
I'm not a Mac guy, only i did some quick research. As in Linux, the Mac OS directories are protected from the users. So, /Library & /Users are likely not writable for users. Your home folder yes, just not /Users itself.

I would suggest excluding those directories from your sync jobs.
