Newer FFS Versions not WinXP compatible?

Does this mean that the 'newer' versions of FFS are not compatible with WinXP - ie: it won't work at all? or does it only mean that new features won't work on WinXP? Should i update my FFS if i still plan to sometimes use with a WinXP machine?

Current FFS will not work on XP.
The final version that does work on XP is FreeFileSync_10.11_Windows_Setup.exe.

If my NEW version is installed on Win10 machine, can it update files from a WinXP on same network?

As long as the files are accessible via File Explorer, you shouldn't have an issue.
