Hello,

I'm new here. My English isn't that good, so I'm trying German.

The following problem: I mirror my data with FreeFileSync on a NAS. With each run - regardless of whether changed files are present in the source directory and therefore need to be copied or not - one or more error messages with the following content appear:

"Error: The directory "S:\..." cannot be opened. ERROR_NETNAME_DELETED: The specified network name is no longer available. [FindFirstFileEx]"

Unfortunately, the same directory is rarely affected (then you could quickly find the causes), but always a different directory - obviously not according to a specific pattern. The access rights to the source and target directories are also fully available.

What can I do so that these errors no longer appear?

Thank you in advance for your help!

That is where you can use Google Translate (or a comparable service) ...

As described, it seems the drive-letter assignment (e.g. S:\ ) is lost.
You should use permanently assigned drive-letters,
or instead of using drive letters, you can use the (hopefully static or reserved) IP address of your NAS, as in \\[NAS_IP_address]\[ShareName]\

The NAS is a webdav connection for which there is no IP address. Is there another solution?

I also need a WebDAV-connection.
Why is that still not implemented?
Does someone know a similar software with WebDAV-support?
