I am trying to back up my ripped music.
I selected the source and target drive and carefully selected UPDATE so it would update the target by backing up with the new artists and albums (folders) and tracks (files) I have ripped.
The artists, albums and tracks were updated on the target but when I checked the source, although the folders (artist, album title) were present, there were no files (tracks) in the folders. It was as if I had used CUT instead of COPY. This did not affect the older tracks only the new stuff.
Is this an option and how do I stop it?

What does your .log file show happened?
An Update sync should have no effect on source files (as far as I can recall).
