can someone explain how this comparison works?
if i have two files in two folders and want to compare (sync.) this two folders and files are same (same photos), just one was copied in folder day before another one and named differently (so, different name and date, but same content (same photo)).
how should software behave in this case?
in my case it compares date and name as well. i am doing something wrong or this is planned behavior?
how can i sync files based on content only (not considering date and name)?
thank you in advance

This is expected behavior. The content of two files are only compared if the names are identical

Like often replied in this forum:
FreeFileSync is a synchronization tool, not e.g. a duplicate finder.

thnx.
and finally
this tool can not compare files only by their content. this kind of comparison will be applied only if name and date are same. for me, it is stupid, but this is how this tool works seems.
