Limitation saved logs

Is it possible to add a user-chosen limitation to saved logs? For days: e.g. the last 10/30 days, or by number: e.g. the last 10?

Default is thirty . . .
Something told me it was there, or maybe I remembered seeing the option. But I didn't find it. . .
