Hi, I'm new to freefilesync, and following the instructions didn't get me what I wanted in this case. Would like some help please.
I want a comparison of the contents of a hard drive, with the folder to which I've copied the entire contents of the drive. I'd like to see all the folders in the back up drive, complete with all folders and files in the tree.
What I got after comparison was nothing shown in 'source folder' side; and on the target folder side just a link to a html page, showing the parent folders only.

How do I get a comparison result that shows on both sides all folders and files?

Thanks, Jay

Likely , the html-file that is shown is likely the only difference between your left-and right-side location.

By default all equal files are hidden in the Compare result window.
You can make the "equal" files visible by clicking the "="-icon mid below the left and right Compare results.

After running a compare, there are filters that you can toggle below the results. The "equivalent" filter is toggled off by default because most people don't care to look at the files that are already in-sync.
