New error status on reboot

I'm having some problems with my PC, among them is this new error from FFS on startup:
Cannot write file "E:\Shares\Shared Media\sync.ffs_db.59da.ffs_tmp".
ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND: The system cannot find the file specified.
This file 9sync.ffs_db.59da.ffs_tmp) is on the FFS drive (E:) - is the attempted write error about trying to sync with the RTS drive? The error has surfaced although no settings to FFS have been made.
What may be causing it and how to I stop it from happening?
