not finding files to sync

Example:
LEFT:
H:\backup
H:\Bills
RIGHT:
E:\USB\V\Bills
E:\USB\V\backup

I have on the left files that have been modified in both locations but when I compare nothing is found to be sync'd. I also have new files on left and nothing found to sync to right. I have modified and new files sitting on the left side location.

I have tried using automatic, Mirror and Update. Any ideas?

I used to run this with a different (broken) usb but instead of the folder path on the left I would have the root of the usb drive and on the right I would have E:\USB\V
This worked now that I have changed it a bit creating a new sync setup it does not work.

The log has not updated since the last sync with the old usb device.

Check the file exclusion settings and also the view filter settings on the lower area of the main dialog.

ok for the view there is nothing showing at all no options nothing just a blank box.

For the filter I have a check box saying show excluded items. It is checked I have also unchecked it with the same results.


Also to add I'm running version 5.10

I figured it out in the filter options somehow in the include section the * got removed. No idea how this happened but glad I figured it out.
