Same problem here. Working fine and just stopped with this error.
I have tried to install some older versions, do the update again, check linux permissions, run tests with smaller folders and still not working. I'm using zorin OS 17.02, 32GB of RAM, Ryzen 5600 and a lot of free space on SSDs.
Does Anyone have a solution for that Killed by signal 6?
I really love Free File Sync, best solution ever (free, secure and fast)!!! but it needs to start working again
=(

When?
While the program is running, or on initial start?
@Jacknz, what OS?
Maybe a memory allocation error?
Maybe OS is looking for specifically defined (sufficient) RAM space, & FFS is being more lax, & so tries writing outside that defined area?
