FreeFileSync includes the helpful functionality of allowing the user to play an audio file when certain functions are concluded or if there is an error.
In Linux (tested on Linux Mint 21.3 with FreeFileSync 13.5), a noticeable and somewhat loud crackling static sound is audible at beginning of each of these sounds. It doesn't matter which sound file is used. I've even created my own clean sound files, and FreeFileSync still emits this somewhat loud crackling sound at the beginning of the playback.
No other applications exhibit this issue, so it appears likely to be a FreeFileSync issue or an issue from a library it uses.
Crackling static sound audible at beginning of every sound (audio file) played

Fixed for the next version. It's a wxWidgets bug in their WAV file parsing.
