13.6 Install error

Hi,

I receive an error when installing. Trying to reinstall the prior version gives me the same error. See the screen shot. thanks...

Try using RevoUninstaller to remove it entirely and cleanup the scraps. Then reinstall

FreeFileSync is not in the list Revouninstall brings up, nor is it in remove programs in Windows. I do have a FreeFileSync folder in C:\Programs. Should I remove it?

Removal of the folder does not solve the problem either.

I also removed the freefilesync folder in AppData\Roaming, once I got it unhidden. Still had no effect on the problem. What else do you want me to try?

Sounds like a Windows issue... I assume you've rebooted?
It is Patch Tuesday so that might be related. May have to do a repair install

Funny thing, Windows10pro updated this morning and afterward I ran the 13.6 update without a problem. Perhaps Microsoft disables some copy/move features while downloading files for update to lock out unintentional changes. If you use these features in your patches, they won't work until the lock out ends. In any event, thanks for your help.
