Hi,

I've never had any problems with FFS. I hadn't used it for 36 days. Today, I've just updated, and when I try to synchronise my folders, I get a message I've never had before:

Cannot open file ‘C:\Users\xxx\Documents\Mes Documents\xxx.pdf’.

ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED: Access denied. [CreateFile]

I tested and the file is available and I can open it... and I have the problem on a few dozen files... The security has not changed, nothing has changed normally ... Does anyone have any ideas?

Are the source & target files identical?

As in if you infer that there was some issue, did the sync actually occur & the files are identical, or did the sync not occur & you are opening 1 version on one end & another version on the other?


What version of FFS were you using before & what version did you update to?

Hi therube, thanks for your feedback.
I found the reason of my issue : AVAST.
Avast has secured several of my files... and that's why it's blocking access to them. By suspending Avast during the sync, it works without a problem. I hope this helps other users. Have a nice day!
