I keep getting a windows popup that asks how I want to run .ffs_batch or something like that. I offers me FFS as one of the options, but when I select that it says it can't find the file. I have checked Settings/Apps/Autostart (Windows 10) but there are no FFS apps there. I have restarted the PC at least once. I have nothing configured in the FFS app window.

When it says it "can't find the file", does it specify which file? As in, the .ffs_batch file or the FFS executable file?
If it can't find FFS itself, try uninstalling and reinstalling.
If it can't find the .ffs_batch file, look into the SMART data of your storage device, could be failing. I would say run a CHKDSK scan, but I don't recommend doing so if the drive is failing too bad.
