Hi!
I am copying files from a PC to a ftp, but as the ftp root is mounted in a long length name path, some of the files that has long working filenames on the PC will not work on the ftp, giving me an error during the sync.
Does Free File Sync has a feature that could copy theses files but renaming them to shorter filenames during the process?
Thanks in advance!
Automatically shortening long filenames?

That is not a feature that FFS has.

Ok!
Good to confirm that this is not an available feature.
I would like to suggest that for a future update.
It is applicable not only to ftp servers but also to HD copies in different root folders.

Considering FFS' goal is to sync data without any manipulation, adding such a feature would directly violate that. I wouldn't hold your breath for such an option even to be considered
