Unable to sort existing account

Hi,
Every time I try to reset my 'daveaclayton' account it does for 'daveclayton' instead.

Your software then gets mixed up b etween the 2 accounts. aaargh

Any ideas?

I use Dashlane to track my accounts. I tried to login using the saved account 'daveaclayton' failed. I requested a password reset for 'daveaclayton'. The system sent the password reset request link to the expected email address.

I didn't spot that the email had change my user name from 'daveaclayton' to 'daveclayton'. I did the password-reset and can only login to the 'daveclayton' account.

I tried registering an account with the same email I use currently, it did not let me. You certainly used another email address

OK, if you say so - but that does not explain what happened when I tried a password reset on the 'daveaclayton' (Username) account. It comes back with an email using for the 'daveclayton' one...

Like I said, the 'daveaclayton' was established moons ago and dashlane tracks the password info.

I am confused. we are where we are...Happy to be advised that I have done something wrong. I just don't get what and when?

Log into your existing account "daveclayton", then rename it to "daveaclayton" in your User Control Panel.
