My FreeFileSync.exe got neutered.

Just noting...

Somehow, my My FreeFileSync.exe got neutered, ended up changed.
+A Attribute set (where it had not been before), & size set to 0 bytes.

Might I have inadvertently done that?
Possibly.

No other files affected.
Other then that .exe, all files compare with the files from the .zip.
No other .exe files are 0-bytes.
No other files have a date of 10-23-24 & a Date Modified (or Created) around that time (12:01).
(I believe there is a 4 hour time difference between local time & board post time, so I was posting here yesterday, a bit before & a bit after noon.)
CHKDSK & S.M.A.R.T are fine.

Just noting.
Odd.

1. the 0-byte version (that i renamed to -ZERO.BYTE, modified, yesterday)
2. the newly replaced version (from .zip)
3. GlobalSettings.xml, dated 10-3-24
(so does that mean that is the last time i opened FFS?)
4. RealTimeSync.exe (for reference)
.

If I were to manually create a zero-byte file, I would typically,
cat > filename + F6 (Ctrl+Z)
but I certainly did not do that.
