Hello! First time user here trying to compare file contents of two files, one from a WD Passport 2626 and another from a One Touch Seagate. At first I would select each file and FreeFileSync would freeze and eventually I would have to force close it. I then tried comparing a random file from my computer with a file from the WD Passport, and it ran perfectly. When I went back to try to compare the two external hard drives I would get an "Access Denied" error when trying to select anything from the One Touch Seagate.
Sorry for the long winded explanation. Any help on what I can do from here would be greatly appreciated as I am fairly tech illiterate. Thanks!

It sounds like the One Touch Seagate might be failing! Download GSmartControl and check the health attributes of that drive

Thank you for that suggestion. I downloaded it and found there were no issues with the drive, however I believe the usb port I was using lacked the power to run both of the drives concurrently. This solved my issue. Thanks again!

Yep! I've seen that before. I've had people using two or more external HDDs on a non-powered USB hub with a mouse, and then the mouse gets laggy when transferring files LOLThank you for that suggestion. I downloaded it and found there were no issues with the drive, however I believe the usb port I was using lacked the power to run both of the drives concurrently. This solved my issue.
