The last time I used FreeFileSync, I received a message that FreeFileSync is not intended for commercial use and that I was running this application on 9 and now 10 systems.
This is not true:
I am very interested in the progress of the Mini-Pc's and have tested and used quite a few of them over the last few years:
Nuc8, Nuc11, Nuc12, Nuc13, Gmktec K6, Geekom A7, Minisforum UM780.
I have installed FreeFilesync on all of these - because it is a very, very good application - and used it temporarily (!!).
I am currently using FreeFileSync on 3 systems: a Mac Mini 2018, a Minisforum UM780 and a “Windows to Go” on both of these machines.
So by no means on 10 (!!) systems.
Perhaps your algorithm should also take into account the time intervals between the installation/use of FreeFileSync before assuming commercial use.
Best regards and thanks for this great application.

Apparently you are now installing the FFS Donation edition on your test machines.
Instead of installing your Donation edition, you could simply install the Free edition on your test machines.
Conversely, if you go to the download page of your Donation edition, via the link in the E-mail you received after donating, or via Help / About / "Thanks you XXX for your support", that page tells you via "FreeFileSync is installed on X devices" how many active installs FFS (thinks) you have.
Via the "Show" button you make those devices visible, and via the Remove popup when hoovering over a device you can remove any no longer necessary registered installs.
It takes some time (<48hrs?) for the devices you remove to be no longer listed as a registered device.
