Real Time Sync Batch File Creation

Could someone explain creating the batch file process for use with Real Time Sync?

The help manual simply states to select a batch file. It does not go into details about where the batch file comes from. Is the user supposed to create it from scratch or does the Free File Sync app create a batch file that you can use with Real Time Sync?

Also when real-time sync is first started does it make an initial backup of the monitored directory? That would be a nice option to enable peace of mind knowing where to start the day with a fresh sync.

Thanks in Advance

I found the answer via Co-Pilot. My 2 Cents I would like:
-Update the manual under the real-time sync to discuss how the batch file is created.
-Add a browse button for the command line setting in the Real-time sync app
-Change the tile of command line to run to" Batch File to Process"

One other thing that would be helpful if it were updated:
In Windows 11 when the batch file is called to run the first time you will get a dialog that pops up asking what application should be used to run the command, Eg the batch file. At this point, you need to browse to the free file sync app and select the exe file.

It would be nice if this was part of the Real-Time Sync Options. If the Free File Sync is the installed version it would be nice if the exe was pre-selected.

RealTimeSync, RTS, can be used to execute any arbitrary command line, launching whatever application (not just FreeFileSync, FFS) upon detecting changes in the monitored directories.

However, if you drag an FFS sync configuration saved as a *.ffs_batch file, into an RTS GUI, the left and right base locations of the FFS sync will be entered as folder(s) for RTS to be monitored, and the RTS command line to launch the FFS sync configuration will be entered automatically.
Read the "Example: Real time synchronization using FreeFileSync" in the RTS manual page.
