On the left, is the configuration section on my FreeFileSync window. It shows about 11 of my configuration files I have saved. But, there are more. I see them in local/roaming/freefilesync directory.
why do they all not appear in the Gui interface?
my Freefilesync is 13.3 64-bit. I am always afraid to update, only to find vast numbers of changes I don't like.

I upgraded to 13.9 FFS. I still have the same problem.
I resaved the configuration file and that does not help.

The configurations that display in the list are determined/saved in the GlobalSettings.xml file that FFS keeps in %APPDATA%\FreeFileSync.
Once you open a configuration in FFS, it should add it to the list and make the appropriate changes to this XML file, thus it should show the same list of configurations after re-opening. Make sure to open the configurations in FFS, they should then be fine after updating or closing FFS.
Quick EDIT: There is no directory that FFS is going to 'look' for config files in, AKA you can't just put a config file in a folder and have it show up in FFS. They will only show up if saved or opened via FFS.
