Copy from sub folder of parent folder to parent folder

I keep getting sync error messages when I want to copy files from a sub-folder a parent folder. I want to move all my images files from the multiple folders that Apple iPhone creates to just the parent folder.
Failing that move to a new folder altogether. Having to go through every folder to find the picture I want is tedious.

Also, this message - I know it has been answered before BUT I just don't understand.
Can someone post a sample configuration that I can modify.

To avoid conflicts, set up exclude filters so that each updated file is included by only one folder pair.
