Hi all,

I'm using MacOS Sequoia and FFS V13.9 ARM64
Eveything else is working wonderfully - just this little issue.
Any help gratefully received,
Regards
Mike.

I'll assume that in, Tools | Options, the default sounds are listed, that the default locations are valid, that you have pressed the "Play" button (to test the sounds) & that no sounds sounded?
Likewise, if you were to drag those files into your audio player, they do play?

Hi, "therube"
thanks for reply.
in MacOS - FileSync-->Preferences-->Notification Sounds.
Sync and Unattended have a wav file which in FFS does not play using the test button (** See below).
bell.wav and remind.wav - both play fine if I drag them into Quicktime.
** After many tries I have just noticed that the sounds do play from the Macbook Speakers - but so quiet that they can hardly be heard - even on full volume. They still give me the error though.
They do not play at all through the docked USB audio (possibly different problem)
Any thoughts ??
Mike.

There are two volume levels, one for alerts, one for general output. The FreeFileSync sounds are considered "alerts":

Hi Zenju,
thanks for the reply.
Had a look at the volume in that config section - makes very little difference - still barely audible - AND the error still persists.
I am pointing at the correct device and the volume is cranked right up.
Here's the error that occurs - Any ideas,
regards
Mike.

The error message is a false-positive, unfortunately, i.e. a wxWidgets bug. No error accually was reported by the library.
