Hi
I have a scheduled backup that occurs early every morning. For the last 2 days, I've been getting this kind of error,
3:01:03 AM Error: Unable to move "D:\Backups\Peter's BU\RecycleBin~0e80.ffs_tmp\Data\Monex.xlsx" to the recycle bin.
COPYENGINE_E_ACCESS_DENIED_SRC [IFileOperation::PerformOperations]
I thought it was a permissions error, so I've tried changing that but it makes no difference.
The computer doing the backup is running Windows 11.
Any suggestions?

Definitely a permissions error. What did you change?

The reply I emailed is incorrect, (I was thinking of the wrong pc).
As far as I know, I've changed nothing.
That particular computer does only one thing which is to run a scheduled backup once a day. It is a computer that is located in another town & is my offsite backup.

After the error occurred, I did make sure that the login that does the backup had read/write permissions on everything, but that fix only lasted for one backup.
