Trying to sync and the windows 10 window says not responding. After a long wait, went to task manager to kill FreeFileSnyc. After telling task manager to end the task, it still will not terminate. Had to reboot. Has happened multiple times. Running latest update. Any ideas?

What type of sync?
Where do your from & to point to?
At what point does FFS hang?
Any particular place (set of files) that FFS hangs?
Might antivirus be interfering?
How much CPU/RAM is FFS using when it hangs?

Windows is probably crapping out because of a bad drive or bad connection to a drive

Having same issue with latest version of FFS, every time I try to update my files it causes a system freeze now.
I have one server at my house and the other at my son's house, connected via zerotier.
For me it's hanging when I start to copy the files (video files) from my primary to a backup. Scanning the drives works normally. It will usually get about 200mb into file copy and freeze completely.
Using the same AV for the past decade with no issues previously.

Syncing one folder to another on different drives. Just hangs in the middle of the sync. No antivirus involved on this machine. No idea how much usage at the time of failure.

I think the bad drive issue may be the problem. I am investigating.
