Hi Guys,

I have several accounts and several calendars, I learned that calendars can be exported to a file (*.ics format), and I would like to setup an automation to sync my different calendars.

As anyone done this already with FreeFileSync ? I don't know if it's far fetched, because the export of the ics file is a one time thing but it still feels right because it seems to include the "remote access" to the calendar .

Looking forward your responses !

After you export a calendar to a file, e.g. an *.ics file, from the calendar environment of one account, you would need to import that file into the calendar environment of another account.
That is obviously not something FreeFileSync (FFS) can do for you.
Exporting a calendar to e.g. an *.ics file is typically suitable for backing up your calendar or for when you migrate from one calendar environment to another. It is typically not suitable for syncing calendars.

For some (all?) calendar environments there are specific programs or add-ons for synchronizing calendars.
For instance, I use the CalDav Synchronizer add-on for Outlook to sync between my Outlook calendar and my Google calendar.
You should look for one or more tools capable of syncing between your specific calendar environments.
You could start here.

Thanks @Plerry, It seems I was wrong in my assumption about ics files, I really think it was possible to get events updates/ new events created after the export of the file, it seems it's not the case !

I'm probably going to use one of these apps

Started usedthis app, it makes the job.
But I'm a bit frustrated to add a tool in my "stack" so I'm still open to another solution
