Invalid links on the welcome screen

Hi everybody, when I try to open one of these links on the welcome screen, it's all invalid. It does not open the chrome browser on Linux?! May be it's forced to use the default system browser Firefox which I changed?

Which Linux OS is that? Are you running as root?

Iḿ running LM 21.3 not as root.

What do you mean by that?

On my end, Windows, clicking the 'FFS Forum' button (in Help | About) attempts to open my default browser. (Mouseover shows, https://freefilesync.org/forum.)

Likewise, from C: prompt, if I:

C:\start.exe https://freefilesync.org/forum

that too will attempt to open my default browser.

On Linux, can you similarly directly open a link from sh?
If so, what happens when you try?
