Mac App Audio output selection

I have upgraded my Mac to a new Mac mini.
This device has a build in speaker inside but I use a Mac Studio monitor as output device.
The sound alert from the app are played over the internal built in speaker instead of the default audio selected.
This results in very low volume unless you "tweak" setting.
I hope this is understandable to be fixed by either outputting the sound on the current selected audio out or letting us choose where to output it.
