Hi Everyone, I have a reasonable size Forum that I backup everyday.
I need some software that will download via SFTP to my local machine and then Presumably another process to mirror it to a backup forum. There are currently around 17000 files.
I have software that currently downloads to my local machine but I need to upload it again to the Backup site. It would be great if the one piece of software could do both.

Does/Can The Software Preserve Last Modified Date With SFTP

The software (FreeFileSync) can/does preserve the last modification date, provided the protocol and the server you use support it.
Older flavours of SFTP often do not; most modern flavours of SFTP apparently do.
You can simply test it for your case with one or more test files and folder(s).
