transfer problem in Mac from external old hdd to new external sdd

What can be the problem when I try to copy the data from the old external hdd to the external ssd?
The old hdd works read-only.

Try ignoring errors for this sync. You could disable the 'lock' files by modifying the FFS XML file, but that's more difficult than ignoring these errors if it gives you the option
