When I click the start button for RealTimeSync, the application closes. I've tried several times. I specified a batch file in a valid path, but no batch file gets created. I want to check the log file to see what happened, but I can't find one and don't know where i should look. I did look in the folder where the I specified the batch file to be created. c:\temp\ricks_DtoE_batch.cmd

RTS doesn't have logs as it doesn't perform any syncing.
I would also suggest reading the documentation on RTS. Clicking "Start" is supposed to close the program window. There should be a systray icon

@xCSxXenon. I did read the documentation and I posted my question because the documentation told me to check the log but didn't tell me where the log was.

Well, .ffs_real calls .ffs_batch & .ffs_batch writes a log, no?

.batch_ffs:

Correct, but that log is a log of the *.ffs_batch FFS sync, not of RTS.

How is that supposed to help me? I went to you link and I couldn't find anything there helpful. SixSigmaGuy, 03 Jun 2025, 08:30
The "problem" description in your initial posting clearly indicates you have no clue how to use the combination of FFS and RTS. And that is exactly what is explained in the linked reply.
If you could not find anything helpful there, that is your loss and problem.

But rest assured! Given the attitude you radiate in your quoted reply, but even more in the replies in your "Really frustrated" thread, I will not bother you with any reactions to any of your postings or replies in the future.
