Hello. I installed a new HDD in my computer and made the first mirroring of all files from the main HDD to the new one using the program. The file size is very large, more than 1 TB.
After the synchronization ended, I discovered that the "Copy file permissions" option that I need was not set in the program settings.
Question. To copy the file access rights now, you need to format the new HDD, set the "Copy file access rights" option in the settings and make a mirror copy again? Do I also need to clear the database log file before that? Where is it located in Linux Mint and how can I clean it?
Or am I wrong and I need to do something else?

The db will be gone after formatting the HDD anyway. That is going to be the quickest way to do this. I'm sure you could probably figure out how to copy permissions using some other utility or CLI, but it will probably take longer than a reformat and clicking a sync button
