Launch fail: REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG

Starting with 14.0, this MsgBox appears:

FreeFileSync – An exception occurred
---------------------------
Installation files are corrupted. Please reinstall FreeFileSync.
Cannot get process information.
REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG: Class not registered [IEnumWbemClassObject::Next]
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
and the app fails to start. 14.1 through 14.3 crash the same way. Installing from EXE instead of unpacking ZIP did not help. 13.9 still works normally. Did I miss a breaking change?
