Donation Edition Installation Fails

I tried to install my donation edition version 14.3 on a new Macbook Pro running MacOS 15.4.1. When trying to install for all users, I get the error message "Error code 1: Failed to copy
/Users/stan/Downloads/Software/FreeFileSync_14.3_[Donation_Edition]_macOS/FreeFileSync_14.3_[Donation_Edition].key to
/Library/Application Support/FreeFileSync/Registered.dat"

So I tried to install it for just one user and got a ssimilar message "Error code 1: Failed to copy
/Users/stan/Downloads/Software/FreeFileSync_14.3_[Donation_Edition]_macOS/FreeFileSync_14.3_[Donation_Edition].key to
/Users/stan/Library/Application Support/FreeFileSync/Registered.dat"

I can manually copy the registration key, but the install script still won't run.

Is there any tech support for FreeFileSync? I thought that if I paid for it I would t least be able to install it.

I guess there is no tech support here. I bought Pacifist to extract the contents of the installer package and manually installed the FreeFileSync Files.
