Hi there,

I do 4 hourly, daily back ups ( 2 back ups ) and weekly back up on our current file server. I have them all in in scheduled tasks. All of them work perfectly except one of the daily back ups. I get an error saying 'An Exceptional Error Occurred : Contract Violation- (c)Program files/C++/Freefilesync/Projects/cpp 437'

I can't even find that folder that contains that error file in both locations. I also have an issue with the sync lock file. is there no way of disabling it?

thanks,

Can you please give the precise error message description, or better yet a screenshot?

I think I know what the problem is. Are you able to reproduce the error in FFS 5.22? In this case I can create a test version to see if the expected fix does in fact work.

do you want me to update to 5.22 to see if I get the same probem?

It's sufficient to install 5.22 in parallel as a portable version, then test.

Well... :) the 5.22 also has the "contract violation" bug, which I assume to be incorrect handling of an out of memory situation, so you're probably just lucky. Anyway 5.23 should fix this type of bug by handling all cases correctly.
