Syncing folders that require root permissions

Hello,

I'm using FFS to sync my configurations and profile between my two Linux computers, just one thing I have "problem" is with syncing /etc/netplan (where VPNs files and other network files are located), because I need root privileges to read/write at this folder.

On the source computer I can use FFS as root, but at the destination computer as I log as a unprivileged user (root disabled) I cant write there.

Right now my workaround is execute a script at destination computer that change the files onwer to my unprivileged user waits and change it backup after sync.

But maybe there is another way to do that without logging remotely, execute a scripts etc.

Anyone have any idea? Just talking about that, no problem if there isn't another solution.
